Sweet Potato
Beauregard, seven grade sizes
A large, starchy, sweet-tasting tuberous root, increasingly used as a potato substitute and across many cuisines. Rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre, and high in antioxidants. Our Beauregard variety is the most popular worldwide, preferred for its flavour and deep orange flesh — grown in the fertile clay soil along the River Nile, which is what makes it naturally sweet. We are also running trials with the Covington variety.
